HealthyStart® is a non-custom, soft and removable set of oral appliances that gently guide erupting teeth into their perfect alignment and encourage the correct growth of the craniofacial complex. What is Sleep Disordered Breathing?
Sleep Disordered Breathing (SDB) is when a child experiences breathing difficulties during sleep. SDB includes frequent loud snoring and Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA).
When breathing is disrupted during sleep, the heart rate increases, blood pressure rises, the brain is aroused, and sleep is disrupted. Often, symptoms of SDB are left untreated or misdiagnosed.
